Head of Retail Banking and Sales 

Savers Bank is seeking a strategic, relationship focused banking leader to serve as our Head of Retail Banking & Sales. 

This executive role will lead the Bank's retail banking division, including branch performance, sales and service execution, customer experience, retail operations, and growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing retail growth strategies that drive consumer and small business deposit growth, deepen customer relationships, strengthen branch performance, and elevate the overall customer experience across all channels. 

This leader will work closely with executive management and business line partners to balance growth, profitability, operational excellence, and sound risk management.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a high performing network of branch leaders and retail teams.
• Drive consumer and small business deposit growth, household acquisition, retention, and relationship expansion.
• Build and reinforce a service based sales culture focused on understanding customer needs and strengthening long term relationships.
• Establish performance expectations, scorecards, coaching standards, and accountability measures that support sustainable growth.
• Champion community engagement and business development efforts throughout the markets we serve.
• Oversee retail operations, policies, procedures, risk management, and regulatory compliance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in retail banking or financial services, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success growing deposits, deepening customer relationships, improving sales execution, and leading organizational change.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products, branch operations, customer experience, sales management, consumer compliance, and risk management.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into measurable results through strong leadership, coaching, and accountability.
• Executive-level communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
