Description
Position: EHS Advisor On site in Kildare
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated EHS Advisor to join our clients team on site in Kildare. This is an immediate start, 2-year contract position, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations, policies, and procedures on site
- Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Develop and implement EHS training programs for employees and contractors
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Review and update EHS policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and represent the company during EHS inspections
- Provide guidance and support to site management and employees on EHS matters
- Monitor and report on EHS performance, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Conduct risk assessments and develop control measures to mitigate identified risks
- Keep abreast of any changes in EHS regulations and ensure compliance with new requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in EHS or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar EHS role, preferably in the M & E industry
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software
