What you will do
The PGIM Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team is seeking a curious and motivated individual to work across global operations, investment and technology teams, business units and control functions to help manage TPRM risk across PGIM And to ensure compliance with Prudential TPRM standards.
The PGIM TPRM manager provides oversight and monitoring to ensure third party services and agreements are executed in a well-controlled manner and follow Prudential’s TPRM policies and standards. The TPRM Manager will support the Vendor TPRM Director developing and maintaining TPRM Vendor program materials, tools and documentation as well as assisting with oversight and quality review testing. This includes ensuring that strong measurement and monitoring processes exist to enable the identification and management of vendor risks. The PGIM TPRM Manager will play a key role in providing support to PGIM businesses including vendor engagement managers, vendor relationship managers and other key stakeholders across PGIM.
Additionally, the PGIM TPRM Manager interacts with Prudential Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) on governance activities and projects or change initiatives with significant impact. Acts as a change agent, identifying, recommending and implementing changes based on business needs.
What you can expect
Play key support role within PGIM TPRM, collaborate with business stakeholder, including vendor engagement managers and relationship managers on vendor intake, risk rating, onboarding, due diligence and ongoing oversight and controls.
Maintain partnerships across PGIM and GSP to ensure active and early participation in vendor related matters.
Consult and guide vendor engagement/relationship managers through the vendor lifecycle process.
Ensure appropriate due diligence is completed following PGIM standards prior to a service provider being engaged.
Provide support in assessing vendor due diligence results and action plan development.
Support and ensure vendor monitoring processes are completed in line with the vendor engagement risk level.
Oversee and facilitate the tracking of vendor issues to resolution via identification of action plans to address performance gaps and control risks, in partnership with the business owners of third-party relationships.
Support site visit preparation and completion as needed, including development of the site visit test plan, and managing issues and action plan tracking.
Provide TPRM governance training and execute testing and results documentation.
Support the development, enhancement, and management of the PGIM TPRM program.
Document Standard Operating Procedures as required.
Participate in GSP initiatives and meetings to streamline TPRM process, drive consistency with tools and templates, and compile PGIM wide reporting.
Support the TPRM Director as needed, including responding to GSP requests and developing reporting for senior management
Manage junior staff as needed.
What you will bring
Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
5-7 years of proven third-party risk management governance, program/change management, operations, finance, audit or risk management related experience
Critical thinking and problem-solving experience required
Familiarity with Asset Management businesses a plus
Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skills with a focus on informing and influencing and relationship building.
Ability to influence peers in partner organizations by working across the businesses to meet objectives
Project management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
Excellent Excel skills, experience with data aggregation and analysis
Travel may be required
