This unique positioning places you at the heart of the organization. You will serve as the "strategic thread" that builds and extends our strategic global operations plans integrating manufacturing, assembly and supply chain into a cohesive whole.  As a high-level individual contributor, you will act as an internal strategic expert, leveraging your technical expertise to orchestrate major structural changes and influence senior leadership decisions regarding P&WC’s industrial footprint for the next decade.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

In this role, you will lead industrial transformations through rigorous project governance and advanced data analytics:

"Make or Buy" decisions: Lead the most critical decision-making analyses (financial, operational, and strategic) to determine the optimal manufacturing and operations footprint for future engine programs

Product Strategy Review Board assessments: Create and implement commodity specific vision, guidance and strategic plans working with specific sites and strategic Sourcing experts.  Set the future of commodities which intersect make and buy.  

Master of Data and Value: Perform deep-dive analyses of spend (make and buy) data for existing and potential make commodities to identify opportunities for margin expansion, cost reduction, and measurable value creation.

Business Case Leader: Prepare and present complex presentations to P&WC and RTX leadership committees to secure stakeholder buy-in for high-impact initiatives.

Core/Non-Core Assessment and analysis.

 

What do you need to be successful?

We are looking for a hybrid profile, combining deep aerospace technical knowledge with strategic project management mastery:

Minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience with an Aerospace (OEM), with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing  or Minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in aerospace or a high-precision manufacturing industry (ex. Automotive), with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business with strong technical exposure.  An MBA a major asset for navigating this strategic role.

Demonstrated ability to extract strategic insights from complex data, financial models, and spend analysis.

Exceptional ability to synthesize complex issues and build consensus within a dynamic, global matrix environment.

Strong ability to prepare succinct executive-level presentations

Ability to lead large-scale international projects with total autonomy, sharp strategic judgment, and a strong collaborative spirit.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Sur site : Les employés qui occupent des postes sur site travailleront principalement à l’usine. Cela inclut tous les employés de production et de maintenance, car ces employés sont essentiels au développement de nos produits.

Télétravail : Les employés qui travaillent à distance, travailleront principalement de la maison. Si vous habitez à un trajet raisonnable d’un site RTX avec d’autres collègues avec qui vous interagissez, votre gestionnaire discutera de la présence sur site associée à ce poste.

Les candidats en apprendront davantage sur le type de poste tout au long du processus de recrutement. Pour les postes sur site et hybrides, le déplacement au travail est une responsabilité de l’employé.

Requiert de vastes connaissances en gestion et en leadership pour diriger des équipes de projets.

Nécessite généralement : Un diplôme universitaire ou expérience équivalente et un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience pertinente ou Un diplôme d’études supérieures dans un domaine connexe et un minimum de 7 ans d’expérience

Ingénierie/Autres postes techniques : Exige généralement un diplôme en sciences, en technologie, en ingénierie ou en mathématiques (STIM) et un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience pertinente, à moins qu’elle ne soit interdite par les lois et règlements locaux.
