Position Summary
The Senior Learning & Development Consultant, AI Fluency Enablement, leads enterprise initiatives that build colleague capability and accelerate responsible AI adoption across Huntington.
Using expertise in learning strategy, performance consulting, workforce capability, change adoption, knowledge curation, and AI enablement, this role turns enterprise AI priorities into practical solutions that help colleagues use AI effectively in their daily work.
The consultant partners across AI Transformation, business leadership, Talent, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Communications, and a network of subject matter experts, facilitators, and champions. The role owns enablement strategy, solution design, adoption support, content practices, and measurement; it does not define enterprise AI strategy, set governance standards, select AI technologies, or lead business-segment transformation.
Primary Responsibilities
AI Fluency Strategy & Solutions
- Lead enterprise AI Fluency initiatives across business segments and stakeholder groups.
- Diagnose business, performance, and workforce needs, then recommend appropriate learning and non-learning solutions.
- Design and maintain scalable resources such as facilitation guides, toolkits, playbooks, communications, job aids, prompt libraries, and self-service learning tools.
- Partner with AI experts to keep solutions current, and integrate AI Fluency into onboarding, leadership enablement, and workforce initiatives.
Content & Knowledge Enablement
- Establish standards and lifecycle practices for AI Fluency resources, prompt libraries, use cases, playbooks, and job aids.
- Partner with content owners and subject matter experts to improve accuracy, consistency, quality, and accessibility.
- Organize content so colleagues can find and use it through enterprise search, Copilot, and learning platforms.
- Promote content practices that improve reuse, reduce duplication, and strengthen the colleague experience.
Stakeholder Consulting & Influence
- Serve as a trusted consultant to AI Transformation Directors, Craft Owners, business leaders, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Architect and recommend scalable learning and non-learning solutions that address enterprise and local business needs.
- Influence leaders, build alignment across differing priorities, and communicate recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Navigate ambiguity and balance business priorities, colleague readiness, risk, and available resources when recommending solutions.
Adoption & Community Enablement
- Lead adoption strategies that build awareness, confidence, participation, and responsible use of AI.
- Address adoption barriers through learning, communication, performance support, and reinforcement that help colleagues sustain new ways of working.
- Build communities of practice, champion networks, and peer-learning opportunities that support local adoption and share successful use cases.
- Equip leaders, facilitators, champions, and business partners with guidance, resources, and coaching.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define measures that connect learning, capability, adoption, and behavior change to business priorities and outcomes.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate effectiveness, identify barriers and opportunities, and demonstrate value.
- Prepare clear, executive-ready progress updates and recommendations.
- Recommend improvements to solutions, communications, resources, and content practices based on evidence and stakeholder feedback.
We are looking for a strategic, collaborative consultant who can turn emerging AI possibilities into practical learning, adoption, and workforce solutions.
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Workforce Enablement, Change Management, or a related discipline, with demonstrated business acumen and experience translating business priorities, processes, and risk considerations into practical solutions.
Preferred
- Demonstrated performance-consulting experience diagnosing business and workforce needs, influencing leaders and stakeholders, and architecting scalable learning and non-learning solutions from discovery through implementation.
- Experience independently leading multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives through planning, stakeholder alignment, risk management, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated expertise applying adult learning, workforce capability, organizational development, systems thinking, and change-adoption practices to complex business challenges.
- Experience defining success measures and using data and stakeholder insights to evaluate capability, adoption, behavior change, and business impact.
- Demonstrated experience applying generative AI tools and leading AI capability-building, workforce enablement, or adoption initiatives within responsible-use, risk, privacy, and governance expectations.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, written communication, presentation, and executive-influence skills.
- Advanced expertise in generative AI enablement, role-based capability development, AI-supported work practices, and enterprise-scale adoption.
- Experience with learning management systems, digital learning platforms, Microsoft 365, and modern authoring tools.
- Experience building communities of practice, champion networks, or peer-learning ecosystems.
- Experience with knowledge curation, content governance, or AI-ready content practices.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry; relevant change-management, project-management, learning, or organizational-development certification is a plus.
