Salary: £35,602 to £48,479 per annum (MPS, Fringe)
Contract: Permanent, full time

Ethos Education is recruiting an English Teacher for a high-performing, heavily oversubscribed 11 to 18 secondary school in the Watford area. The role is permanent and full time from January 2027. Pupils here are known for their excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning, and the English department is well established, collaborative and proud of its consistently strong results.

About the role

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature
• Opportunity to teach A Level English in a thriving sixth form
• Plan engaging lessons that challenge and support high-achieving pupils

About you

This English Teacher role is open to ECTs and experienced teachers. We would love to hear from you if:

• You hold QTS, or a recognised equivalent such as QTLS

A Level teaching experience is an advantage but not essential.
