Key Responsibilities
- Record accounting transactions, expenditures, and journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Review monthly tax filings, including VAT/ PPN – e-Faktur and VAT e-Return, Withholding Tax Article 21 (PPh 21), Withholding Tax Article 23 / 26 (PPh 23 / 26), Final Tax Article 4(2) and Annual Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan) ensuring full compliance with Indonesia tax regulations.
- Review tax payments via e-Billing and submit tax returns through Coretax.
- Coordinate with Tax consultants and Tax authorities (KPP) when required.
- Perform and review reconciliations of related general ledger accounts and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable balances, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
- Record month-end and year-end adjusting journal entries for the timely closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with related parties for the annual financial statements submission.
- Coordinate and support statutory audit, tax audit, and external auditor.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and internal control policies, corporate accounting policies and statutory requirement.
- Perform other accounting, financial reporting, and administrative duties as assigned by management.
- Manage the collection and issuance of tax invoices.
- Oversee import procedures and shipping documents for COGS calculation.
- Review cashflow forecast and inter-company settlement.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and conduct annual physical count.
- Review of staff reimbursement report.
- Liaise with banker on banking matters.
- Identify internal control risk and improve current processes.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned and required.
- Support office administration for Indonesia office
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prior experience in external audit or public accounting firms will be considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of PSAK, Indonesian tax regulations, financial reporting, closing processes, account reconciliation, and tax reporting.
- Familiar with tax systems (Coretax etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Hands on ERP system experience is required, Oracle is preferable
- Brevet A & B certification is preferred
- Good command in English
