Overview
Join our Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit as a Mechanical Engineer responsible for Turbine Island design development activities. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements, develop and check design documents, and integrate Turbine Island design into wider power plant infrastructure. Key responsibilities include applying Systems Engineering principles, engaging with stakeholders, attending design reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll need a minimum 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering, experience in regulated industries like nuclear or renewables, and proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Catia). The role offers hybrid work options (1-2 days remote per week) and opportunities for career advancement in a leading nuclear engineering company.
