Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
In the role of Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. This includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. The Scrum Master actively works to identify and remove any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring that members remain focused on their objectives. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and communicating the team's progress through relevant metrics, while continuously supporting and mentoring the team to enhance their performance and collaboration.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting processes to enhance team efficiency and delivery.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and applying Agile methodologies effectively.
- Strong skills in team collaboration and conflict resolution to maintain a productive work environment.
- Ability to track and report project progress using appropriate metrics and tools.
- Competence in identifying and removing impediments to ensure continuous workflow.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills to support team development and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
