JOB DESCRIPTON:
Pay: $10/hour
Student Advocacy and Support is seeking dependable and customer-focused FRONT DESK assistants. As a Front Desk Assistant, you will serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, manage daily office flow, and support department initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service & Front Desk Operations
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer phone inquiries
- Respond to general inquiries and direct visitors
- Assist with front desk operations, including monitoring foot traffic and office communications
- Serve as a primary resource for department visitors by directing them to appropriate resources
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area; remove outdated promotional materials
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Ability to communicate professionally by telephone, email, and in person.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with general computer applications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
