There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, your typical day involves investigating and resolving complex performance issues that the internal performance testing team has not been able to address. You will engage deeply with various facets of performance engineering, including understanding the software development lifecycle and architecture, conducting thorough performance testing and validation, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and identifying as well as resolving problems efficiently. Your role requires a comprehensive approach to ensure optimal system performance and reliability across multiple environments and applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align performance goals with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Automation Strategy.
- Good To Have Skills: Functional Test Planning, Agile Testing.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks to support performance validation.
- Experience in analyzing system architecture to identify potential performance risks and optimization opportunities.
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and logs to diagnose issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Familiarity with capacity planning methodologies and tools to forecast resource requirements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Test Automation Strategy.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
