The Opportunity

We're looking for Graduates to join our Audit team in Pōneke/Wellington commencing in February 2027.

Our Audit team builds trust in how organisations report their performance. You'll help deliver audits that give stakeholders clarity and confidence, combining technical expertise, open communication and leading technology. It is work that goes beyond compliance, helping organisations make better decisions and grow with confidence.

PwC's Audit team works with some of New Zealand's highest-profile, most interesting and pioneering organisations. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of industries and learn directly from Partners, Directors and Managers while building valuable technical, commercial, digital and interpersonal skills.

No two days are the same. You'll work with clients and colleagues to understand complex financial information, solve problems and contribute to high-quality audit outcomes. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, think independently, take ownership of your work and step into more responsibility as you grow.

What you'll bring

  • Be in your final year of study, recently graduated or continuing your studies after completing a summer internship.

  • A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Data Analytics, Management Studies, Mathematics, Science or another relevant discipline.

  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • An interest in understanding organisations, financial information and how businesses operate.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and colleagues.

  • A curious, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships.

  • Comfort working with technology, data and emerging AI-enabled ways of working.

  • An interest in working towards a professional qualification such as CA ANZ, CPA or CFA.

Before you apply, please ensure you have your latest CV and academic transcript ready. You can only apply for one job. In the application form, let us know if you would be open to other roles, and we will handle the rest - no need to apply multiple times.

Eligibility: Applications are open to New Zealand and Australian citizens and permanent residents. Candidates on student or work visas may only apply for roles within our Audit, Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT), and Internal Audit & GRC teams, provided they meet the relevant eligibility criteria.
