• Base salary ranging from $106,709.01 to $116,198.52 plus 17% super (HEW Level 7)

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a dynamic and high-performing research environment, providing maternity leave cover for 12 months. As Centre Coordinator, you will drive the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of CJCADR’s programs, funding processes and operations. Working closely with the Centre Director and QBI leadership, you will play a vital role in ensuring the Centre delivers strategic, financial and operational excellence while supporting world-leading research.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the coordination and continuous improvement of internal funding processes, ensuring transparency, consistency and alignment with strategic priorities

• Drive operational planning and governance activities, including tracking performance against strategic goals and managing risk and compliance requirements

• Provide high-level financial oversight, including budget management, forecasting and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making

• Build strong relationships across QBI, the University and external partners, while contributing to communications, engagement and events that elevate the Centre’s profile

About You

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in program coordination, operations or management within a complex organisation

• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, reporting and analytical capability

• Experience supporting governance processes, including committees, reporting and compliance frameworks

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships

• Highly developed communication and writing skills, including preparation of reports, briefings and documentation

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver projects to tight deadlines and adapt to changing demands

• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

• A collaborative, inclusive approach and commitment to contributing to a high-performing team culture
