We are seeking a talented individual to join our Affinity – Entertainment and Leisure team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Adelaide OR Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role is for an early career broker who is looking to improve their skill set across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for a variety of industries within entertainment and leisure. The candidate is required to be an organized self-starter who is motivated to proactively manage interactions with our clients as part of a team and work to strengthen and grow account relationships.

We will count on you to:

• Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to these needs

• Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client’s needs as required

• Process billing requests and gather information for quotes

• Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations

• Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control, and other necessary reporting over client portfolio

• Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner

• Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate

What you need to have:

• Experience within the Insurance industry

• Good customer service and interpersonal skills

• Clear and effective communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team

• Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to recognize and solve problems and think outside the square

• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
