Product Engineer

• Lead the DFM/DFA with cross functional teams in Rayong to make sure these processes are identified and implemented.
• Track product design/development to specification.
• Work with BW Engineering groups to ensure products conform to specifications.
• Work with the Quality group to define major warranty concerns on each product line and where possible, come up with design solutions to resolve these issues.
• Work with relative team such as PM, Quality, Manufacturing and PTC establishing and implementing change management including TCR and/or PCN system to track the implementation of PDSCR’s into production.
• Support reducing manufacturing cost, scrap and reject at plant.
• Focus on productive activities when issues are unresolved.
• Being tactful and diplomatic in team interaction
• Communicate engineering related issues (i.e. engineering cost reduction & estimates, design reviews, change management etc.) between PTC engineering and Rayong plant.
• Responsible for complying with safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Responsible for attending safety and environmental trainings.

• Work with BW engineering groups to ensure products conform to specifications.
• Coordinate design technical reviews and submission of deliverables such as drawings in lines with key program dates.
• Communicate engineering related issues (i.e. engineering cost reduction & estimates, design reviews, change management etc.) between PTC engineering and Rayong plant.
• Resolve customer field problems related to engineering issue and report on test incidents.
• Work with relative team such as PM, Quality, Manufacturing and PTC establishing and implementing change management including TCR and/or PCN system to track the implementation of TS ’s into production.
• Support reducing manufacturing cost, scrap and reject at plant.
• Identify potential cost reduction ideas and work with the PTC to validate and implement these.
• Work with the quality group to define major warranty concerns on each product line and resolve warranty issues focused on process.
• Product validation
• Responsible for complying with safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Responsible for attending safety and environmental trainings.
