Overview:

Sentara Medical Group has a full-time opening for an APP (NP or PA) to join Sentara Palmyra Medical Associates in Charlottesville, VA. Join a collaborative, patient-centered Family Medicine practice where your voice matters and your work truly makes a difference. In this full-time outpatient role, you’ll care for a diverse patient population across all ages while working alongside experienced physicians and supportive staff who are committed to delivering high-quality, community-focused care.

Position Highlights:

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

• 40 hours a week (36 patient contact hours, 4 hours of admin)

• 14-16 patients/day

• Collaborative practice with 3 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 10 support staff

• A dedicated mentor assigned,  who provides ongoing guidance and practical support, ensuring a smooth and successful transition into practice

• Minimal Call schedule – every 8-12 weeks – 24-7 nurse triage team used first

Minimum Requirements:

• Active NP or PA

• Master's Degree required

• Experience preferred but open to exceptional new grad
