Position: Inventory Admin

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Admin to join our team in Cape Town.
Position Overview:
The Inventory Admin will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as experience in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock counts
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Generate purchase orders and track delivery schedules
- Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions
- Maintain and update inventory records using company's inventory management system
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast inventory needs
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and propose solutions for clearance
- Generate inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Train and supervise junior inventory staff, if applicable
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory management
- Proficient in using inventory management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is a plus
