Msuez Uk is a leading company in the manufacturing industry, specializing in the production of high-quality products for various industries. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Admin to join our team in Durban, South Africa.
As the Inventory Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels and records. Your main goal will be to ensure that our inventory is always well-stocked and readily available for production and delivery. You will work closely with our production team, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock counts and audits
- Update inventory records and systems to reflect incoming and outgoing products
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Work closely with the production team to plan and schedule production based on inventory levels
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels and take appropriate action to resolve them
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure they adhere to inventory management protocols
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of production processes and supply chain management is a plus.
