Job Description Summary

The Shipping and Logistics coordinator is crucial to the shipping team to coordinate shipments, manage correct documents and follow the process for domestic and international shipments. He/She will interact with internal and external customers.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Coordination of Operations: Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products

Documentation Management: Maintain all necessary documentation related to shipping and logistics, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations

Customer Service: Interface with customer service teams to manage order fulfillment and address any shipping-related inquiries

Problem Solving: Analyze logistical problems and develop solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1–2 years of shipping and logistics experience within a manufacturing environment, including hands-on experience with international shipping operations

Desired Characteristics:

• Fork lift
• SAP
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
