About the Role
BDO Brisbane is currently looking for a Senior Manager to join our Corporate & International Tax team in Brisbane. As a senior member of the practice, you will work closely with our Partners to deliver strategic tax solutions across a diverse client portfolio, leading complex engagements, strengthening client relationships and supporting the ongoing growth and development of the team. We are a growing team, committed to developing future leaders and providing clear opportunities for progression as the practice continues to expand.
Key responsibilities:
Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, understanding their commercial objectives and delivering practical, value add solutions
Engagement Management: Lead multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, overseeing deliverables, budgets, resources and deadlines
Technical Excellence: Review complex tax returns, work papers, tax effect accounting calculations and technical advice, ensuring high quality outcomes and effective risk management
Strategic Advisory: Deliver transactional advice that drives client decisions and business growth
Team Development: Coach and develop team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture
Practice Growth: Contribute to business development initiatives, proposals and networking activities that support the continued growth of the Corporate & International Tax practice
About You
Extensive Corporate & International Tax experience gained within a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services environment
Strong technical tax expertise across compliance and advisory engagements
Demonstrated experience leading complex client engagements and building trusted client relationships
Proven people leadership experience with a passion for developing high performing teams
Commercially minded with an interest in business development and practice growth
