For one of our clients, a leading Trust Company based in Geneva, we are looking for a

 

SENIOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

 

Job description

• Manage and develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing tailored trust and fiduciary services
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and oversee the administration of complex structures
• Liaise with external advisors, including lawyers, tax advisors, investment managers and other professional intermediaries
• Participate in client and prospect meetings and contribute to the establishment of new trust and corporate structures
• Handle the day-to-day administration of trusts, companies and other entities, including incorporations, liquidations and the creation or termination of trusts
• Prepare corporate documentation, minutes, memoranda and documentation relating to specific transactions
• Manage the onboarding of new clients and ensure that all required KYC and CDD documentation is complete and compliant with internal procedures
• Coordinate bank account openings and maintain strong relationships with banks and other external partners
• Ensure that client structures and transactions comply with applicable governance, risk and compliance requirements
• Identify and escalate potential risks or risk trends to Senior Management when required
• Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance on client matters and day-to-day activities
• Contribute to maintaining a high standard of client service across the portfolio

 

Required profile

• Solid experience in a Trust Officer / Relationship Manager position within a trust company, fiduciary or similar international environment
• Strong knowledge of trusts, companies and complex wealth structures
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of international private clients
• Good understanding of KYC, CDD, compliance and risk requirements applicable to trust and fiduciary activities
• Experience in the incorporation, administration and liquidation of corporate and trust structures
• Strong client relationship management skills and ability to interact confidently with HNW clients and professional advisors
• Ability to manage complex matters independently and take ownership of client relationships
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, reliable and service-oriented personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset
