Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor bridge construction activities and workmanship to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Inspect materials, equipment, and completed works for quality and conformity.
- Witness field tests, measurements, and quality control activities.
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and safety issues, and report findings to the Site Engineer.
- Verify contractor compliance with construction methods, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain inspection reports, site records, photographs, and documentation.
- Monitor construction progress and report daily site activities.
- Assist in reviewing quantities, measurements, and work accomplishments.
- Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to address site issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Comply with the company’s QA and BMS procedures.
- Perform reasonable other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Reporting Supervisor
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bridge, highway, or infrastructure construction projects.
- Experience in construction inspection, quality control, and site supervision.
- Knowledge of bridge construction methods, materials, and DPWH standards and specifications.
- Familiarity with reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundation, piling, and earthworks activities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, testing requirements, and construction safety practices.
- Strong observation, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, MS Project).
- Willing to accept Project-base status.
