Senior Product Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking highly motivated Master's or PhD graduates to join our engineering team developing next-generation electro-hydraulic actuation systems for automotive chassis/ suspension systems, and advanced robotic applications.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to participate in the complete product development lifecycle, from customer requirement analysis, system design, simulation, testing, and validation to product industrialization.
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in hydraulic systems, electric motors, motor control, system integration, and new product development.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• New Product Development:
  • Develop innovative electro-hydraulic actuation products from concept to production in the following application areas: Active suspension systems, Chassis motion control, Electro-hydraulic actuators and power units, Robotic actuation systems, Intelligent mobility solutions
  • Develop product specifications and prepare technical documentation
  • Perform engineering calculations, design analysis, and system performance evaluations.
  • Develop and evaluate technical concepts through simulation, testing, and prototype validation.
• Customer Requirements Analysis
  • Analyze customer requirements and application needs.
  • Perform requirement decomposition and establish engineering targets
  • Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications, development plans, and actionable engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions and participate in customer technical discussions.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and requirement management documentation.
• Product Development
  • Conduct system or product modeling, simulation, and analysis using engineering tools such as CATIA ,MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim, ANSYS.
  • Perform engineering calculations and design analysis, including:
    • Mechanical design, Hydraulic circuit design, Electromagnetic component design
    • Tolerance stack-up analysis, Design calculations, CAE simulation, DFMEA, Specification, define design risk analysis and actions.
    • Conduct design verification and validation activities and perform reliability engineering evaluations
  • Investigate engineering issues and perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies Contribute to 8D problem solving, DFMEA reviews, design reviews, and product optimization activities.
  • Execute prototype build activities, conduct laboratory testing and vehicle/system validation, analyze test results, prepare engineering reports, and perform reliability and durability evaluations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and global engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Execute product launch and industrialization activities to support the successful transition from development to production.
  • Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and project reviews to support engineering decision-making and continuous product improvement.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in: Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering. PhD is a plus.
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA) , industry standards (ISO, SAE) , FEA, CFD, or Multiphysics simulation tools (e.g ANSYS Maxwell/Fluent/Structure, GT, MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim), and Python or other engineering software tools
• Preferred Technical Background via academic projects, research experience, or internships involving: suspension system, electro-hydraulic systems, pump system, electric drive motor systems, electro-hydraulic robotic actuators, controls & system engineering, aerospace actuation systems.
• Academic project, engineering research, simulation, testing or internship experience in product development is preferred
• Good presentation and communication skills.
