DIRECTOR OF SPA
Luxury Lifestyle Hotel • Miami Beach, FL • USD $125,000 - $150,000 + Up to 20% Bonus

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Director of Spa for a luxury lifestyle hotel in Miami Beach. This is a senior commercial and is responsible for elevating the spa and wellness experience, driving guest satisfaction scores, and delivering consistent financial performance across the spa, fitness, and retail operations. This is not a role for a first-time Director, we are looking for a seasoned Spa Director who can both operate and elevate, bringing creativity, commercial acumen, and a genuine passion for guest experience.

 

• Lead the full operation of the spa, overseeing the Assistant Director of Spa, supervisors, and the wider spa team
• Drive and improve guest satisfaction scores and overall service quality across all spa and wellness touchpoints
• Develop creative packages, promotions, and experiential offerings that attract new clients and drive incremental revenue
• Identify strategic opportunities to grow retail sales across spa and hotel outlets
• Provide leadership support to the fitness centre and retail operations, ensuring a cohesive and elevated guest experience
• Execute measurable sales, marketing, and wellness programming initiatives to cultivate business from in-house guests, local residents, and members
• Establish clear quality standards, reinforcing them through training, coaching, and continuous performance evaluation
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, Sales, and Finance to maximise commercial performance
• Drive team development, engagement, and innovation across the wellness operation

 

• Proven experience as a Director of Spa within a luxury hotel or resort environment. First-time Directors and Assistant Directors will not be considered for this role.
• Forbes Travel Guide property experience is required
• A track record of improving guest satisfaction scores and elevating service standards
• Strong creative ability to develop compelling spa packages, promotions, and wellness programmes
• Commercial acumen with experience driving revenue, managing budgets, and identifying retail and ancillary income opportunities
• A therapy or treatment background is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a spa team
• Massage Therapy license is highly preferred
• Must have valid US work authorization

 

• USD $125,000 - $150,000 per year
