What the role involves:
Join our friendly Oncology/Haematology and Respiratory ward as a Ward Clerk, where you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support, ensuring a high standard of service for patients, visitors, and staff at Cabrini. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting visitors, patients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
Providing efficient reception services and maintaining a welcoming environment
Handling telephone calls and enquiries promptly and appropriately
Responding to patient requests or referring them to the appropriate team member
Ensuring confidentiality and discretion when managing sensitive information
What we’re looking for:
You are a motivated and reliable individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will bring:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems
Recent experience in a ward clerk or similar role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a courteous phone manner and strong attention to detail
A flexible and positive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing needs
Initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to ask for support when required
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience with CHARM and PAS systems (highly desirable)
