Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Materials Planner. Responsible for reviewing system requirements, analysing material coverage, and identifying material shortages for production. Maintain effective communication with the materials scheduling team to ensure proper planning when a shortage is detected

Key responsibilities

• Develop release schedules and shipping timelines to suppliers using SAP.

• Collaborate with the logistics department to develop strategies that improve delivery performance and reduce costs.

• Inventory management.

• Maintain strong communication with suppliers to provide shipping plans

What we’re looking for

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Schooling: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or business administration.

• Experience Time in similar position: 2 years of experience in planning (preferred).

• Technical knowledge required: Knowledge of MRP processes and planning environments. Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations. 

• English Requirement: Conversational / Business Level
