HR Intern

Overview

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is looking for an Human Resource Intern to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, P&C Global Talent Acquisition, this role will support the recruitment function through candidate sourcing, interview coordination, reporting, recruitment systems administration, candidate screening, and campus recruitment event planning. This is a one-year internship running from May 2027 to May 2028.

 The Location: This position is based in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

As Human Resources Intern you will be responsible for these activities:

 

• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate scheduling across multiple hiring teams.
• Support recruitment activities including candidate sourcing, resume screening, and talent pipeline development.
• Maintain recruitment systems, update candidate records, and generate recruiting reports and metrics.
• Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment events, with a strong focus on university and campus recruiting initiatives.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Currently enrolled in the second or third year of a Business, Human Resources, Commerce, or related degree program.
• Available for a 12-month work term, working 37.5 hours per week
• Available to complete a full-time internship from May 2027 through May 2028.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Nice To Have:

• Previous customer service, administrative, or campus leadership experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, or applicant tracking systems.

• Builds positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members while delivering a high level of service.
