IT Senior Engineer

Hexcel is currently seeking an IT Senior Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Provide onsite IT support to Hexcel end users at the Casablanca plant.

• Record, troubleshoot, and resolve service desk requests via phone or remote access within SLA targets.

• Monitor, update, and escalate tickets within the Global Service Desk ITSM system.

• Install, configure, and set up new PC hardware and software following established standards.

• Collaborate with global technology teams to diagnose and resolve network, system, and service-related issues.

• Raise incident notifications and support service restoration activities when disruptions occur.

• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, production processes, and all site IT assets.

• Work closely with Engineering and Implementation teams, applying advanced analytical and problem solving skills.

• Participate in on call and out of hours support, while independently managing and leading IT projects in Morocco.

• Provide guidance on business processes across Hexcel applications, leveraging strong knowledge of ERP and manufacturing systems.  

Qualifications:

• IT related Engineering degree

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with strong technical expertise.

• Solid knowledge of PC hardware technologies, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

• Strong understanding of current Windows operating systems for both servers and workstations.

• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative and resolve recurring issues.

• Demonstrated experience training or coaching users on IT solutions across all levels of the organisation.

• Customer focused attitude with the ability to interact professionally and proactively with users at all levels.

• Ability to manage projects and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in English required; French is an asset. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed based on business demands.
