Job Summary

Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Management Information, or related disciplines. Proven experience in developing dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions. Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights. Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes. Specialist: Data Insights & Intelligence (MI/BI) is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the business. The role focuses on developing, managing, and optimizing Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, ensuring accurate reporting, advanced analytics, and actionable recommendations that drive business performance.

Job Description

Data Management & Business Intelligence

• Design, develop, and maintain MI and BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Translate business requirements into insightful reporting and analytical solutions.
• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor data quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Insights & Analytics

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Produce actionable insights that support business strategy and operational excellence.
• Deliver timely and accurate management reports and performance metrics.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives and decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data-driven decision-making and performance management.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with data governance standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain reporting standards and best practices.
• Support audit and data validation activities where required.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging analytics and reporting technologies.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for automation and self-service reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Power BI, SQL, or related technologies will be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Management Information, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience in developing dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights.
• Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes.

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of data modelling and database management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Platform.
• Experience with Python, R, Azure Data Services, or cloud analytics platforms is advantageous.
