Description
You will support demand forecasting and planning by turning data into clear insights. You will work closely with demand forecasting managers, commercial teams, and data owners. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain forecasting reports, dashboards and tools to support the commercial planning cycle.
- Collect, validate and upload forecast volumes into forecasting systems and ensure published data is accurate.
- Monitor data quality and run validation checks; flag and escalate data or system issues.
- Maintain databases and repositories for integrated business planning activities.
- Support monthly planning meetings by producing timely slide decks and standard dashboards.
- Coordinate with data owners and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent data across systems.
Basic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, statistics, mathematics, analytics or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years experience in demand forecasting, demand planning, supply chain analytics, or similar roles.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with forecasting systems such as SAP APO, OMP or similar is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and an ability to work across teams.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or FMCG planning environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and model selection.
- Familiarity with data sources such as distributor sales, inventory movements or market sales data.
- Basic scripting or data transformation skills in SQL, Python or similar.
- Experience preparing materials for forecast review or S&OP meetings.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and documentation.
