We have an exciting opportunity for an Technolohy Analyst
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Technology Analyst to join our Technology Projects and Innovation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the organisation, turning business challenges, ideas, and opportunities into clear technology requirements that drive meaningful change. As a Technology Analyst, you will engage with stakeholders from across the business to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into well-defined requirements for delivery by project or technical teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring technology solutions improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the services we provide.
Location: Remote with opportunity to work from your closest regional hub, regular travel to CGL locations when required.
Hours: Fulltime, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Liaise with colleagues across CGL to capture and document current processes to support existing projects or new requests for support
- Liaise with colleagues across CGL to understand issues and challenges and capture requirements to support new workstreams within IT
- Analyse, refine, report, and confirm processes and issues with all stakeholders
- Document processes, identifying areas of improvement of efficiency and quality through process mapping
- Effectively communicate between team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Assess current Processes/Procedures and make recommendations where appropriate for improvements
- Conduct solution reviews and create a recommendations report
About you:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to empathise with the users of our services, and be patient and supportive
- Strong IT knowledge including excellent knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Experience of effectively managing relationships with stakeholders and producing clear information to stakeholders in a non-technical manner
- Experience of proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and recommending solutions to business problems.
- Highly organised and experience working in an administrative role.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Experience of writing and presenting reports
- Excellent time managementGood skills in data analysis, data reporting, flowcharts, project timelines
