## Description

The Manager, Global Product Development is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative beauty products from concept through commercialization across multiple product categories.

This role partners closely with Marketing, Packaging Development, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, and external manufacturing partners to bring disruptive, consumer-driven products to market while ensuring exceptional quality, speed, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Lead end-to-end development of innovative beauty products across multiple categories, from concept through commercialization.
• Drive product development timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful, on-time launches.
• Evaluate formulas, shades, textures, fragrances, claims, and overall product performance throughout development.
• Coordinate product testing, stability, compatibility, and claims substantiation activities.
• Partner with external laboratories and manufacturers to identify new technologies, ingredients, and formulation capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Brand Marketing to translate consumer insights and trends into innovative product concepts.
• Partner with Packaging Development to ensure product and component compatibility.
• Work with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to support commercialization.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve development challenges.

Innovation & Trend Monitoring

Stay informed on beauty, skincare, ingredient, and consumer trends to identify new product opportunities.

Research emerging technologies, ingredients, and market innovations to strengthen the innovation pipeline.

Participate in competitive benchmarking and product evaluations.

Project Management

Own project timelines, critical paths, budgets, and key milestones across multiple launches.

Balance innovation, quality, speed-to-market, and cost throughout the development process.

Prepare product reviews, milestone updates, and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.

## Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biology, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in beauty product development, preferably within prestige cosmetics or skincare.
• Experience managing complexion and/or skincare product development projects.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic formulations, manufacturing processes, testing requirements, and commercialization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with both skincare and color cosmetics.
• Prestige beauty industry experience.
• Experience working with third-party laboratories and contract manufacturers.

Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,550.00 to $143,800.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
