As a Armed Security Officer Palmer Hwy in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
