Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Attendant in Livermore, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established protocols, escalating access concerns to site leadership as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
