Training and Development Advisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the end-to-end apprenticeship process, including learner administration, provider liaison, progress monitoring and record keeping.
• Administer the full Continuing Professional Development (CPD) process, supporting colleagues to meet requirements, maintaining accurate records and coordinating CISI membership requirements.
• Maintain and monitor the qualifications tracker, including exam registrations and results, resits, and study programme progress.
• Coordinate Cross-Border and other accreditation requirements, including the assignment of training and issue of attestations through Comply.
• Support the delivery of development actions arising from year end performance review processes.
• Track Fit and Proper forms (through Comply), following up with relevant colleagues and maintaining complete, timely records.
• Administer Clever Nelly learning pauses and ensure learning records remain current.
• Monitor the Training & Development mailbox, responding to queries or directing them to the appropriate owner within agreed timescales.
• Track completion of mandatory training for new joiners, escalating overdue learning and providing completion updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Deliver any training sessions to interns as part of their 8 week programme.
• Administer the various Training & Development actions for known leavers, including Clever Nelly updates, CISI updates and flagging to relevant stakeholders FCA required updates.
• Support with other Training & Development related administration as needed.

Work with the T&D Team on broader HR projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Experience in a Training and Development Advisor role preferably within Wealth Management or financial services
• Good knowledge of HR processes, data management, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, solutions focused
• Ability to work in a high-pressured environment, adapting to varying stakeholders, and the ability to tailor their style accordingly
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with external partners
• Discretion, integrity and an understanding of confidentiality and data protection
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider HR team.
