As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Equipment Stewardship in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a controlled environment, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrol activities, incidents, visitor access, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
