Manufacturing Finance Manager

We're looking for a Manufacturing Finance Manager to own the operational accounting and financial management across our supply chain and procurement process - from purchase order through delivery, receipt and invoicing. The role sits within our joint venture manufacturing entity and works closely with both the JV's operations team and Auterion's central finance function. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who understands how physical goods move through a production environment and can translate that into accurate, timely financial reporting and management-ready cost visibility.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Own the procurement-to-invoice process end to end - purchase orders, delivery receipts, goods receipt checks and stock movement - ensuring proper matching and controls at each step and maintaining the document-level audit trail required under applicable accounting standards
• Reconcile deliveries against bills of materials and purchase records, working closely with supply chain and systems teams to keep records accurate and up to date
• Turn delivery and receipt data into accurate, on-time invoicing and build repeatable monthly reconciliation processes
• Identify and correctly account for items delivered outside standard/contracted pricing agreements
• Track actual production costs (direct materials, labor, and overhead) against contract value and budget. Surfacing variances early so operations and management can act swiftly
• Maintain and reconcile WIP balances by production order; tracking physical production progress against system records, supporting accurate period-end inventory valuation and COGS recognition
• Support the build-out of financial controls across procurement and spend, including approval workflows and spend visibility
• Act as the finance counterpart to supply chain and operations teams, providing cost visibility, variance analysis, and the financial and cash-flow impact of production activity
• Maintain a regular on-site presence to verify physical inventory and operations against system records
• Track and control operational spend against budget, including cost category visibility, variance reporting, and enforcement of non-production spend approvals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations finance - manufacturing or hardware environments strongly preferred
• Comfortable working directly with bills of materials, purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment: WIP tracking, standard vs. actual cost variance, inventory valuation
• Strong reconciliation and process-control mindset; comfortable building structure where processes are still maturing
• Proven ERP ownership in a manufacturing or supply chain environment required. You build and own processes, not just use them. NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Clear communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally with supply chain, operations and finance stakeholders
• On-site presence required as this role works directly with production and receiving teams and cannot be performed remotely.
