Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent service by engaging with members/guests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Assists with answering fitness center related inquiries, including over the phone and via email.
- Assists members/guests with proper and safe use of fitness equipment.
- Informs members/guests about fitness center policies and procedures.
- Maintains cleanliness of fitness center and equipment. Performs opening and closing duties.
- Assists with setting-up and breaking-down fitness equipment for various group class workouts.
- Maintains a safe workout environment and promptly reports incidents to management.
- Provides personal training sessions to members as assigned by the Director of Fitness.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience. Must be a Certified Personal Trainer to provide Personal Training.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and safe equipment use.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members and guests.
- Must have nationally recognized CPR/AED certification.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. This position is eligible for additional pay when providing personal training.
