Commercial Analyst

Are you the Commercial Analyst we are looking for? We need your support on providing data, analyses and actionable insights to support to our Business Development, Sales and Category Management teams. In addition, to be the key go to person of our different data systems.

About the Role

• Conduct data collection and analysis to support commercial activities for local markets by providing actionable insights on commercial analytics to defined stakeholders regarding for example Pricing, Product Mix, Segmentation, Profitability, Sales, Opportunities/Risks, Trends and KPI’s
• Collaborate with Commercial organisation and provide strategic insights building a collaborative approach to Commercial Insights
• Prepare reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Support the development and activation of analytics tools and systems to enhance data capabilities.
• Conduct regular data audits to maintain data quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Carry out research as required to understand the business, market and competitive landscape to support more enhanced and advanced analytics and data
• Become the expert in Commercial Analytics for the assigned stakeholders
• Focus on learning and developing analytical skills
• Work on specified projects
• Provide training sessions for end-users on analytics tools and systems

What You Will Do

• Provide analysis of sales and customer data and propose recommendations.
• Perform research in key areas such as customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales team’s activities.
• Draft more complex sales documentation, proposals, and reports.
• Make more complex calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.
• Assist in having smooth on going information flow thru all departments in the commercial organisation by collaborating and delivering data needed in the commercial organisation.
• Create, maintain, and evaluate reports from key sources such as CRM.
• Being the customer data and field sales CRM key user and campaign support

Who You Are

• Degree in a related field (e.g., Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science).
• Earlier experience in data analysis and from working in FMCG is considered as a benefit
• Fluent in Finnish and English
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau), SAP, CRM, SQL, VBA.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Creative and flexible problem solver
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Knowledge of AI advantageous
