The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This position also helps with marking materials with identifying information using appropriate methods. This is a full-time onsite position located in Miami, FL.
**Important Notice:
Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and parts within the warehouse, picking up parts in the stockroom and warehouse.
- Resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records by tracing the history of the item.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Pulls inventory for Sales Order processing and transfers to new locations.
- Pulls inventory for Engine Builds and issues to an assigned work order.
- Pulls inventory for Repair Order processing.
- Examine and inspect outgoing material for correct P/N and S/N.
- Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Organize the stockroom and material to be pulled for Sales Orders and Repair Orders.
- Handles and notifies the Sales Department of discrepancies found while processing orders.
- Work with outgoing Quality Inspectors to resolve quantity and traceability issues on orders.
- Customer service for both the Sales Department and outgoing Quality Inspection in resolving order conflicts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Appropriate application of basic warehouse principles and procedures. Must be able to diagnose parts, materials, and component pieces, not in compliance with company and other regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the building generally weighing 0 to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate a forklift and ladder
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Minimum of 2 years of experience is a plus
- Being able to communicate effectively (oral and written) and possess strong organizational, analytical, and, administrative skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and, Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills is a plus.
