About the Role & Team
The VP, Sales – SEA & ANZ is a senior regional leadership role responsible for driving IDC’s sales performance and growth across Southeast Asia and ANZ. Reporting to the SVP Sales – APAC, the role sits within the APAC Commercial Leadership team and has ownership of regional sales strategy, revenue and bookings, key client relationships, and the development of a high-performing sales organization.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on enterprise sales leadership, with a strong focus on building pipeline, improving forecast accuracy, developing talent, and expanding relationships with strategic accounts.
What You’ll Do
Own and execute the SEA/ANZ sales strategy and deliver regional bookings and revenue targets.
Lead pipeline development, forecasting, account planning and overall sales performance.
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing team of Account Managers and Sales Specialists.
- Strengthen executive-level relationships with key clients and strategic accounts across the region.
- Drive disciplined enterprise sales practices, including MEDDICC-based qualification and pipeline management.
- Partner closely with APAC and Global leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and deliver growth opportunities.
- Leverage Salesforce, Gong, analytics and AI-enabled sales tools to improve forecasting, pipeline quality and sales productivity.
- Lead the adoption of modern and AI-enabled ways of selling while maintaining a strong consultative and relationship-led approach.
- Represent SEA/ANZ within the wider APAC Sales Leadership team and contribute to regional and global commercial strategy.
What You Bring
15+ years of enterprise, quota-carrying sales experience, including significant senior sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record leading multi-country sales teams and consistently delivering against commercial targets.
- Strong experience across SEA/ANZ or the broader Asia Pacific market.
- Background in IT & Technology, enterprise software, professional services, consulting, or technology intelligence.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology buying and decision-making across the region.
- Experience with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC or a similar enterprise sales methodology.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and modern sales technologies such as Gong.
- Experience leading digital transformation, automation or AI-enabled sales initiatives.
- Strong executive presence, commercial acumen, people leadership and cross-cultural stakeholder management.
