Facilities Manager

Your role

You'll be a part of our Business Operations team based in Brisbane. As a Facilities Manager, you'll lead the delivery of a premium workplace experience, that support exceptional service to our clients, visitors and people, balancing operational excellence, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.

As a Facilities Manager in our Business Operations team you will:

• Manage the maintenance of the tenancy and equipment by conducting preventative maintenance inspections and attend to and/or report faults so as to provide a safe working environment

• Take ownership of workplace safety, operational risk and business continuity through proactive management of WH&S, emergency procedures, building security systems and the car park

• Lead complex workplace projects including relocations and refurbishments ensuring excellent stakeholder outcomes, operational continuity and an exceptional workplace experience.

• Provide day to day leadership to the Facilities and Guest Relations team, building capability, driving high service standard and ensuring the delivery of a seamless workplace and reception experience for clients, visitors and employees.

• Build strong networks with internal stakeholders and external service providers so as to maintain a high level of service

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

You will have:

• A client service mindset and professional approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, various stakeholders and vendors;

• An ability to leverage systems and data to improve operational efficiency and service delivery;

• An ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build trusted relationships with stakeholders, vendors and service providers

• Strong organisational and time management skills;

• Resilience and enthusiasm, with a strong sense of pride in your work;

• Strong knowledge of WH&S principles;

• Previous experience working in a Facilities Management team within a corporate or professional services environment is high desirable

• A growth mindset, including a willingness to learn, seek feedback, share knowledge and support the development of the team.
