What this Job Entails:
Responsible for supporting organizational decision-making through complex analysis, reporting, research, and effective use of data generated from our information systems. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets. This role requires a strong, analytical thinker.
Scope:
- Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
- Works on problems of moderate scope
- Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative/ qualitative data analysis using tools and functions such as SQL, Dashboards, and Google spreadsheets
- Collaborate with individuals throughout the organization to understand data visualizations needs for customer feedback
- Present reports monthly, quarterly and as requested with issues, observations or outcomes specified
- Work with stakeholders, including 3rd party representatives, to troubleshoot and resolve data problems
- Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
- Produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
- Utilizes a variety of software applications and data sources to develop methodologies for the Business Intelligence team
- Seeks out, identifies, documents, and initiates resolutions to data quality issues that are discovered during report and analysis development.
- Stays connected to industry trends, research and recommend best practices and KPIs

Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2-5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Proven track record of analyzing data and using analysis to drive key insights and recommendations
- Ability to work with large data sets across multiple systems
- Strong presentation skills - able to crisply visualize and present data and insights to the organization
- Ability to write reports
- Strong Query skills
- Experience with Tableau, Hadoop, BigQuerry system management, SSIS, SSRS, or PowerBI Experience
- Microsoft Office/G-suite knowledge
- Able to read and create technical documentation
- Ability to manage several project concurrently
- Assess situations and supports decisions by researching, validation, and organizing a variety of defined and undefined observations or issues in a fact-based detailed-oriented manner
- Develops and presents recommendations from accurate assessments and/or analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL scripting and use knowledge
- Python knowledge
- ServiceNow reporting
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
- Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
- Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
- Must be able to use a computer
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively
- Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Salary Range
$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
- Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
