About the Role

We are looking for an IT Applications Specialist to support and continuously improve business-critical applications used across manufacturing, warehouse, and operational processes.

In this role, you will work closely with business users, IT colleagues, and external partners to ensure applications run smoothly, issues are resolved efficiently, and system changes are properly tested and documented. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing digitalization and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Management & Application Support

• Provide first- and second-level support for business applications.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related incidents and service requests.

• Monitor application performance and identify potential issues.

• Support interfaces and integrations between connected systems.

• Coordinate with senior IT specialists and external vendors when required.

• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.

Testing & System Validation

• Participate in application testing and validation activities.

• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other validation tests.

• Document test results and support the preparation of validation documentation.

• Assist in maintaining procedures, work instructions, and system-related documentation.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

• Analyze recurring issues and support root cause investigations.

• Contribute to corrective and preventive actions that improve system reliability.

• Support application enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects.

• Assist with data verification and migration activities when needed.

User Support

• Provide day-to-day support to business users.

• Deliver user training and guidance on system functionality and best practices.

• Prepare and maintain user guides and training materials.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in application support, IT systems support, or a similar role.

• Experience supporting business-critical applications and troubleshooting technical issues.

• Understanding of incident management and end-user support processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Professional proficiency in Romanian and English.

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, basic SQL knowledge, software testing, validation activities (CSV), GxP-regulated environments, or manufacturing and warehouse applications would be considered an advantage.
