Description
The Manager, Facilities - Eden Bluff Campus is responsible for the overall workplace operations, safety, security, employee experience, facilities service oversight, site communications, and facility improvement projects for the Eden Bluff Campus consisting of approximately 200,000 square feet across two office buildings in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This role serves as the primary onsite facilities leader and is responsible for overseeing the relationship with the third-party facilities management provider, managing onsite contract security services, leading emergency preparedness activities, coordinating communications with employees, department leadership, and executive leadership, overseeing campus improvement and construction projects, and supervising two direct reports.
The position is also responsible for leadership of the Site Safety Lead Program, administration of the campus Emergency Response Program, coordination of first aid training initiatives, and communication with employees, department leadership, and executive leadership regarding campus operations, safety, security, and business continuity matters.
Campus Operations Leadership
Oversees daily campus operations, workplace services, space utilization, and employee support.
Serves as the primary facilities contact for the Eden Bluff Campus.
Ensures a safe, functional, and professional workplace environment.
Facilities Service Oversight
Provides oversight and direction to Cushman & Wakefield as the third-party facilities management provider.
Reviews service levels, maintenance activities, operational performance, and workplace issues.
Acts as the primary liaison between campus stakeholders and the facilities management provider.
Security Management
Oversees onsite contract security operations and vendor performance.
Responsible for access control, visitor management, badging, key control, and incident response.
Maintains security procedures and emergency response protocols.
Safety, Emergency Preparedness & Response, & Business Continuity
Coordinates drills, preparedness activities, and business continuity efforts.
Coordinates incident communications and leadership notifications during emergency events and operational disruptions.
Leads the Eden Bluff Campus Site Safety Lead program and provides overall direction for campus safety initiatives.
Recruits, trains, develops, and coordinates Site Safety Leads to support emergency preparedness, response, and employee safety programs.
Oversees the campus Emergency Response Program and ensure procedures, documentation, and response protocols remain current and effective.
Coordinates campus emergency preparedness activities, drills, exercises, and incident response efforts.
Serves as the primary facilities lead during emergency events, building incidents, severe weather events, and business continuity situations.
Coordinates leadership notifications and incident communications during operational disruptions, emergency situations, and business continuity events.
Maintains relationships with local emergency responders and supports coordination activities when required.
Oversee the campus first aid program, including coordination of first aid, CPR, and AED training opportunities.
Ensures adequate first aid coverage is maintained through ongoing training, certification tracking, and employee participation.
Promotes workplace safety awareness through employee education, communication, and engagement initiatives.
Supports post-incident reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of safety and emergency response programs.
Site Communications & Stakeholder Coordination
Serves as the primary facilities and operational communications lead for the Eden Bluff Campus.
Develops and provides facility-related content and operational updates regarding building operations, maintenance activities, service disruptions, construction projects, workplace changes, security matters, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
Partners with the Communications team to support campus-wide employee communications utilizing established corporate communication standards and templates.
Coordinates timely communication to employees, department leadership, and executive leadership regarding operational impacts, business continuity events, safety concerns, facility-related issues, and campus incidents.
Provides operational briefings, recommendations, incident updates, and status reports to leadership regarding campus operations, facility projects, security matters, and emergency events.
Supports communication efforts during emergencies, severe weather events, building disruptions, and other operational incidents.
Coordinates communication delivery through Teams channels, email, digital signage, notification systems, and other approved communication platforms.
Serves as a liaison between employees, leadership, service providers, security personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution and organizational alignment.
Campus Improvement & Construction Projects
Leads facility improvement, renovation, workplace enhancement, and campus construction projects.
Partners with Cushman, contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver projects.
Develops project scopes, budgets, schedules, and business requirements.
Financial & Operational Management
Supports development and management of the campus operating budget.
Identifies cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
Leadership
Directly supervises two employees and provides coaching, development, and performance management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of facilities, workplace operations, or related experience.
Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience.
Experience managing vendor relationships, service providers, and workplace operations.
Preferred:
Experience in multi-site facility management or within a logistics, supply chain, or corporate office environment.
Certified Facility Manager (CFM), FMP, or similar industry certification
Construction management certification such as Certified Construction Manager
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency best practices
Advanced understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventive maintenance programs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external vendors
Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization

Compensation Range
$89,800.00 - $151,800.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
