Who are we looking for?
A rare opportunity has arisen for a 1 year fixed term Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join Stevenson. This is a new role supporting the talent acquisition function during a period of leave cover. You will play an important part in delivering a smooth recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
You will provide recruitment coordination and operation support across the full hiring process, while also contributing where required to talent acquisition projects.

You will be confident juggling multiple priorities, building strong working relationships, and keeping recruitment activity running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role will suit someone who is hands on, detail oriented and happy supporting across both coordination and broader talent acquisition activity.
You will bring:
Experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition or a similar role
Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday experience is advantageous) and Microsoft Office
An understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing channels and fair hiring practices
We’re looking for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition in a complex organisation, someone who is a confident and professional communicator and able to build strong relationships with a wide range of people. You will have well developed time management and organisational skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and ideally experience using applicant tracking systems. You will also bring a proactive, accountable and team focused approach, along with a genuine commitment to delivering a great candidate experience.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment activity across multiple roles and regions
Assist and manage recruitment activities such as advertising vacancies, screening candidates and scheduling interviews and selection processes as required.
Prepare and maintain recruitment documentation, including interview correspondence and selection records
Support and manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment lifecycle to deliver an exceptional experience for candidates and stakeholders.
Draft and update job adverts and job descriptions where required
Manage end to end pre-employment checks, ensuring the timely completion of reference checks, pre-employment medicals, MOJ, ACC and employment eligibility verification.
Provide broader support to the Talent Acquisition team during busy periods and leave coverage.
Travel may be required to the various Stevenson sites on occasions. This will be between various sites in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Auckland.
