- Strategic Advisory: Partner directly with the Head of Corporate Banking Ireland to formulate and execute coverage strategies, account planning, calling strategies, and client segmentation.
- Financial & Market Analysis: Evaluate public filings, research reports, macroeconomic trends, and financial forecasts to produce high-quality strategic and financial analyses that support portfolio growth.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of market and industry trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activities within the financial institutions landscape to identify new business opportunities.
2\. Client Relationship Management & Origination
- Relationship Support: Partner with Senior Bankers and Product Partners to provide comprehensive relationship management support for a portfolio of banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, and insurance companies.

- Global Network Coordination: Coordinate closely with Global Banking coverage partners and Parent Account Managers to deliver a seamless, consistent "One Citi" experience to clients.
3\. Product Cross-Selling & Capital Deployment
- Platform Cross-Selling: Drive revenue growth by identifying client needs and cross-selling the full spectrum of Citi products, including cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange, debt capital markets (DCM), share repurchases, and interest rate/equity derivatives.
- Capital Optimization: Assist in the efficient deployment of the firm's capital, navigating the lending and credit approval processes in alignment with Citi's return thresholds.
- Customized Solutions: Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative, customized solutions that address clients' unique liquidity, financing, and investment needs.
4\. Risk, Compliance & Portfolio Controls
- KYC & Onboarding Ownership: Work closely with onboarding managers to ensure flawless execution of Know Your Client (KYC) and other compliance deliverables.
- Early Warning Detection: Demonstrate an advanced level of Early Warning Detection skills to identify potential credit, operational, or reputational risks within the portfolio before they materialize.
- Risk & Reputation Safeguarding: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Ideally 6-10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, transaction banking, or financial institutions coverage (FIG).
