Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant – Germany / Fluent German Speaker

Are you an experienced SAP HCM Payroll consultant looking to lead complex payroll transformation projects across Germany?

An established international technology and transformation consultancy is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to support clients with the implementation, migration and optimisation of German payroll solutions across modern SAP landscapes.

This senior position combines:

• SAP HCM Payroll consulting

• German payroll transformation

• SAP H4S4 and Employee Central Payroll

• SAP HCM Time Management

• Implementation and migration projects

• Client and project leadership

You will:

• Plan and deliver consulting projects focused on German SAP Payroll.

• Lead SAP Payroll implementations into previously non SAP environments using H4S4 or Employee Central Payroll.

• Support migrations from existing SAP HCM Payroll environments to Employee Central Payroll and Employee Central Time Tracking.

• Implement solutions for payroll optimisation and changes arising from German payroll legislation.

• Take responsibility for project workstreams and larger areas of delivery.

• Work directly with clients to understand requirements, analyse challenges and develop tailored solutions.

• Develop concepts covering German collective agreement, social insurance and tax requirements.

• Configure SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management solutions.

• Coordinate nearshore teams responsible for configuration and system activities.

• Support data migration and cutover activities.

• Plan and coordinate testing activities to ensure system quality.

• Plan and deliver training for key users and end users.

• Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of SAP Payroll solutions.

You will bring:

• A university degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics or a comparable discipline.

• At least three years of experience working with SAP solutions for German Payroll.

• Strong knowledge of German payroll processes, social insurance, tax legislation, reporting requirements and payroll specific regulations.

• Experience planning SAP German Payroll implementation projects and associated testing activities.

• Strong SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management configuration experience.

• Good knowledge of wage types, payroll cycles, operations and functions used to extend and adapt standard SAP payroll schemas.

• Experience with integrations to other systems and processes, including posting interfaces, Organisational Management, Time Management, Fiori, ESS or MSS would be advantageous.

• Experience with Employee Central and Employee Central Time Tracking would be beneficial.

• ABAP and debugging knowledge would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Professional fluency in German and English.

• Flexibility and willingness to travel according to project requirements.
