Job Details:
Purpose
The Student Assistant works within the Department of Finance to support tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to: front office support (copying, organizing, electronic filing), and support administrative operations as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail in a working environment
- Working knowledge of standard office machines including computers, printer and scanner
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general administrative duties.
Hourly Rate
- $15
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
Work performed during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM)
Work Shift
- To be determined through discussion with supervisor.
