Compensation: €4,613 - €5,500 / month
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert on employment law across European markets (Netherlands, UK, France, Ireland, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy), translating legal requirements into practical HR solutions.
- Own and continuously improve the HR policy framework, driving innovation through technology and AI to make HR policies more accessible, user-friendly and efficient.
- Advise HR and managers on employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, grievances, organisational change, and terminations.
- Maintain and improve the organisation's job architecture, grading framework and salary structures using the Hay methodology.
- Advise managers and HR on salary increases, promotions, ensuring consistency, internal equity and alignment with our reward principles.
- Evaluate market benchmarking tools and reward data sources, recommending improvements to strengthen our compensation practices.
Qualifications / skills
- Strong knowledge of employment law, with the ability to navigate country-specific requirements across multiple European jurisdictions
- Experience designing and maintaining compensation frameworks, job architecture and salary benchmarking approaches.
- Experience with job evaluation, job grading methodologies, i.e. WTW, Mercer, IPE or Hay
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Key relationship management skills
- Knowledge of international labour standards and frameworks (e.g. OECD and ILO) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced international environment
